Occasionally, there is a need for pressure measurements to take place in temperatures that are significantly higher than those generally encountered. While pressure sensors can typically operate perfectly well in media temperatures of up to 80 or 90 degrees C, for greater temperatures, a different solution must be found.
To fulfil this requirement, Sensor-Technik UK offers a cost-effective solution – the A08-XHT pressure sensor. Constructed completely from stainless steel, the A08-XHT has been specially designed to operate in high media temperatures of some 200 degrees C. The A08-XHT is ideal for vehicles and mobile machines, as the sensor is extremely reliable and capable of accurately measuring pressures from 20 bar up to 1000 bar.
The A08-XHT has a thin-film measuring sensor and is provided without oil-filling. The electrical connection is through an M12 plug, employed with reverse polarity and shortcut protection. Protection-wise, the sensor is rated at IP65.
The A08-XHT is frequently employed in a number of applications, including mobile hydraulic systems, test benches, industrial applications and chemical and process engineering facilities.
