Vibration facility receives ISO 17025 Accredited Certification

Measurement Specialties, an expert in sensor design and manufacturing, has announced that its vibration sensor calibration laboratory in China has achieved ISO 17025 certification from the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS).

In addition to being ISO 9001 and ANSI Z540-1 compliant, all Measurement Specialties plug and play vibration sensors shipped from the China manufacturing facility will now also conform to the globally accepted laboratory quality accreditation, ISO 17025.

Sean Gough, general manager vibration/force for Measurement Specialties, noted, “As a global entity, Measurement Specialties is committed to complying with all relevant customer and regulatory requirements as well as site specific QMS standards. We are very proud to have achieved this milestone accreditation at our China vibration sensors calibration lab, as it supports that commitment.”

The vibration sensors group of Measurement Specialties operates its business unit out of California, with three manufacturing locations in the USA, China and France that offer factory calibration and test services for accelerometers.  Specific types of sensors serviced at the facilities include piezo-resistive, variable capacitance, piezoelectric (PE) and integrated electronics piezoelectric (IEPE).
