With the PRC 20 installation connectors with crimp connection, Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio to include efficient solutions for semi- and fully automated production.
The crimp connection brings significant time and efficiency advantages in production. In addition, the Duo-Unlock technology enables both manual and tool-assisted locking – for added flexibility and security. The 2-position to 5-position connectors for conductor cross-sections of up to 2.5 mm² are designed for rated voltages of up to 500 V AC/DC and currents of up to 20 A. The IP66/IP68/IP69 degrees of protection ensure reliable use even under demanding ambient conditions. Impact resistance of up to IK08 underlines the mechanical resilience of the series. The connectors feature mechanical and color coding as an installation aid for error-free commissioning.
As part of the PRC 20 portfolio, the crimp versions are compatible with existing solutions and support a consistent, scalable system architecture.
