Bowers Group, a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision measuring solutions, today announced the expansion of its successful and popular XT range of bore gauges with the launch of its new XT3 model.
Designed to help operators improve inspection efficiency, Bowers’ XT3 offers a new ergonomic design – including a larger and clearer LCD display – along with IP67 electronics protection, proximity output or optional built-in Bluetooth; both allow bi-directional communication giving greater flexibility for data acquisition and storage.
Although Bowers produces the most comprehensive series of bore gauges and internal measuring equipment available, not all applications can be covered by its standard instrument range. As with the rest of the XT range, the new XT3 can be manufactured with special heads for measuring non-standard applications; such as splines, threads and grooves.
“Bowers’ already successful range of bore gauges, including the XT Digital and XT Holematic has seen significant improvements with the launch of the XT3. Once again, Bowers has raised the bar in the field of design and development, giving its customers a cost-effective yet flexible solution to their measurement challenges,” said Geoff Jackson, Bowers Group Managing Director.
