New Gill Sensors side rotary position sensor provides radial measurement in restricted areas

The side rotary position sensor provides an innovative way of measuring absolute rotary position. Developed for radial measurement, the Gill sensor allows measurement of shaft position and can be retrofitted to the side of the shaft where access is restricted. 

The rotary sensor produces absolute position feedback through 360° and is capable of measurement up to 300rpm. Capable of achieving +/-1% accuracy, the GSpsosition rotary position sensor remains operational in temperatures from –40°C to +160°C and features a 15 KHz update rate delivering fast and accurate rotary measurement.
