NEW at Sensors & Instrumentation 2014

DEWETRON UK will be exhibiting two new data acquisition systems from DEWESoft at the 2014 Sensors & Instrumentation Show in September. DEWESoft SIRIUS-R2D, not to be confused with Star Wars R2D2, and SIRIUS-R8D are portable, self contained data acquisition systems configured with up to 2 & 8 SIRIUS slices to provided up to 32 & 128 synchronized channels. Both R2D and R8D instruments can be configured with 200KS/s, Dual Core, 24bit and 1MS/s, 16bit SIRIUS slices with built-in SBOX processor for the R8D and a Pro2 tablet computer in the R2D. Configurable measurement channels are available for strain gauges, accelerometers and voltage with the option of thermocouple/RDT measurements via MSI adaptors and CPAD loggers.

Both instruments are available with touch-screen displays and as with all DEWESoft products, DEWESoft-X software is included as standard, which offers the user many application specific measurements such as Power, Vibration, Order Tracking, Modal Analysis and many more. High-speed video is supported and is synchronized with the acquired data providing valuable visual information in complicated measurement applications. Digital I/O and counters are also available along with optional automotive BUS interfaces such as CAN, OBDII, J1939 & J1578, other interfaces include ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1552, FlexRay, XCP, CCP and Gyro. All SIRIUS amplifier modules are available with 1000V galvanic isolation, which is vital for many measurements and for ultimate dynamic range the Dual-Core 24bit versions provide 160dB. In field applications the environmental conditions often cause problems, especially in dusty conditions so the FANLESS versions of SIRIUS provide complete immunity to dust and dirt.
