Offering advanced sensing and ultra-low power consumption, the XENSIV BGT60ATR24AIP radar sensor enables reliable and cost-effective contactless in-cabin monitoring. The BGT60ATR24AIP sensor supports a range of automotive applications, including left-behind child detection, seat occupancy detection for seat belt reminders, gesture sensing for car infotainment, driver vital sign and drowsiness monitoring, and intrusion and proximity alerts.
The BGT60ATR24AIP radar sensor, now available from Mouser, enables ultra-wideband frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) operation in a compact 8.0 × 8.0 × 0.86 mm3 package. Highly integrated, the radar sensor allows users to achieve multiple functions with a single 60 GHz radar setup. The BGT60ATR24AIP sensor features a digital interface for sensor configuration and data acquisition, while an integrated state machine enables independent data acquisition and minimizes power consumption. The sensor also features integrated antennas-in-package (AIP), a built-in crystal oscillator, and micro-motion detection with steep chirps. The XENSIV BGT60ATR24AIP 60 GHz radar sensor is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified for automotive applications.
