ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration for BSRIA North

BSRIA has announced the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Registration for BSRIA North.

This extension to scope covers Equipment Hire, Calibration and Sales operations which are presently run out of BSRIA’s Bracknell site and was undertaken within six months from the initial application to BSI to the granting of the registration.

June Davis, business manager, BSRIA North, said: “BSRIA North is delighted to have been awarded the extension to scope to the Bracknell’s sites ISO 9001 registration for Instrument Hire, Sales and Calibration of Electronic and Electromechanical Instrumentation for use in the Building Services and Process Industries.

“Overall it was a very good audit which included assessment of the strategic operation of the site against the ISO 9001 standard and the Quality Management System put in place over recent months. This extension of our scope complements our existing accredited services and provides the customer with the assurance they are getting a quality service backed up by independently assessed quality systems and processes.

“Indeed the independent laboratory gives added confidence to customers and consumers and plays an important role when delivering a product into the market.

“It’s been hard work to get the BSI extension to scope with my colleagues based in Bracknell 200+ miles away with numerous visits to Preston: this clearly highlights teamwork at its best!”
