There are now less than two weeks left to enter the Instrumentation Personality of the Year category at the 2026 Instrumentation & Electronics Awards – and the extended deadline of 31 July is fast approaching.

The award recognises individuals making a lasting impact across the instrumentation sector through leadership, innovation and dedicated service to the industry. In 2025, Xylem’s James Chapman received the accolade in recognition of his commitment and influence.

From technical leadership and innovation to mentoring, business development and industry advocacy, this category celebrates the people advancing instrumentation technologies, supporting the wider engineering community and helping shape the sector’s future.

Following the successful launch of the combined Instrumentation & Electronics Awards format in 2025, this year’s programme gives companies and colleagues another opportunity to recognise someone whose work is making a meaningful difference.

Don’t leave it too late – entries close on 31 July. View the full criteria and submit your Instrumentation Personality of the Year nomination through the Instrumentation & Electronics Awards website.
