“We are deeply saddened by the news reaching us from the earthquake zone. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the disaster. It is now important that fast and unbureaucratic aid reaches the crisis areas,” says HENSOLDT Chief Human Resources Officer Dr Lars Immisch.

HENSOLDT is in close contact with the German Red Cross and the city of Aalen. Employees of the company are also organising other aid campaigns to be made possible in an unbureaucratic manner.

“The images from the devastated regions are deeply moving. The close ties between the city of Aalen and its partner city Antakya are also reflected in the commitment of many HENSOLDT employees. It was therefore quickly clear to us that we had to make a contribution here,” says Andreas Hülle, Head of Optronics & Land Solutions and Managing Director of HENSOLDT Optronics. Tanya Altmann, Andreas Hülle’s designated successor, has personal connections in the region: “Anyone who knows the region and the people there feels a special responsibility to help,” says the future Optronics Managing Director.
