Dukosi, the technology company revolutionising the performance, safety and sustainability of high-power battery systems, has announced the appointment of Graeme Cook as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and strategic direction.

Cook’s experience in financial management and strategic development will support Dukosi’s continued growth as the company scales to meet customer demand for its industry-leading Dukosi Cell Monitoring System (DKCMS®). The system supports electric vehicles (xEVs), commercial transport, marine, aerospace, industrial and robotics applications, as well as battery energy storage systems for utility and grid-scale projects, telecommunications infrastructure and AI data centres.

Cook is a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of senior management experience across international markets and strategic operations in the semiconductor, electronics and software development industries. An experienced non-executive director with board-level leadership experience, he has a proven record of supporting boards in both growth-stage and established companies, driving financial transformation to achieve sustainable profitability and operational excellence.

“Graeme is a commercially astute CFO who understands the financial rigour and operational discipline needed to scale a company and achieve sustainable, profitable growth,” said Mark Pinto, CEO of Dukosi. “Graeme has been working as interim CFO at Dukosi for the past eight months and is a critical addition to the Dukosi executive team. He joins us as our first CFO at a very exciting time, as we ramp up production and advance the successful commercialisation of our smart battery-cell monitoring solution, DKCMS®, and C-SynQ® communication protocol, which form the foundations of our technology and product roadmaps.”

Commenting on his appointment, Cook said: “I’m honoured to join Dukosi as Chief Financial Officer at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth journey. Dukosi’s innovative technology has the potential to make a significant impact on the future of battery management, and I’m excited to work alongside the team as we scale the business, execute our ambitious growth plans and bring our technology to an increasingly global market. I look forward to contributing to Dukosi’s next chapter and helping to build on the strong foundations already in place.”

Before joining Dukosi, Cook was Chief Operating Officer at Apsis Business Components, a comprehensive resource-planning and project-management SaaS company serving the built environment and construction industries.

His experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries includes serving as Executive Director and Global Vice-President of Finance and Operations at FTDI Chip, a fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Glasgow, UK, with a global footprint. There, he led the global finance and operations teams and established key metrics and financial governance, laying the foundations for a private equity sale.

Earlier in his career, Cook worked at Steward, now Qnity Inc., a global leader in materials and solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries. He held several senior management positions, including General Manager for EMEA and General Manager for Asia.
