Value Added Distributor
DMS technologies have been the Value Added Distributor for Enersys in the UK and Ireland for over 26 years and are also the largest distributor in the UK for the US made Lifeline batteries. Within the lead acid market we also maintain close relationships with Exide, Haze and Yuasa. We also have our own brand of Red Flash AGM batteries that offer very high performance characteristics relative to cost. We have links with a range of lithium and NiMH manufacturers including Tadiran, Panasonic, GP Batteries and A123 as well as with the emerging Far East factories.
Battery Pack Building & Custom Design
We started life as a battery pack manufacturer and remain the leading UK pack builder. We still manufacture large numbers of our original Cyclon battery packs and have gradually added more and more technologies and manufacturers. Using lithium, alkaline and NiMH cells we now build packs for applications ranging from Oil & Gas to Rail to Lighting. We can offer a basic shrink wrap solution to a fully moulded plastic casing with specific connection sockets. We have worked on a wide range of projects as illustrated in our case studies.
In addition to custom designed and built battery systems we manufacture a range of portable power systems for engine start used by the MoD, UK & European recovery organisations and fleet operators. We are the largest builder of engine start packs in the UK and, during our colder winters, have an output in excess of 10,000 packs annually. We manufacture under a range of brand names, all leaders in their respective fields including Varley Red Top in Motorsport, Red Flash in Rail, Aviation & Military and Power-Start in Automotive. In line with market requirements for battery systems that power professional equipment, we are able to design and build products branded to match our customers’ equipment.

Our extensive warehouse facility gives us the ability to react quickly to meet urgent demands for standard product or meet strict call off order schedules to match our customers’ own build programs.
