DJB Instruments UK Ltd exhibited at the International Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart, Germany from 24 to 26 June and enjoyed a truly International experience with several important agreements being reached during the show.
Commenting on the exhibition, DJB’s Managing Director, Neill Ovenden said ‘We went to the show with a strong expectation of meeting a large number of local German Automotive engineers and whilst this did happen, over 70% of the visitors to our stand were from other International countries including USA, Spain, South Korea, China, France, UK, Israel and Japan to name a few.’
During the exhibition DJB agreed a programme of training events to be rolled out in Germany and France as a continutation of their seminars held in the UK. The event titled ‘Accelerometers – The Truth and More’ has achieved wide acclaim for its focus and practical approach which has helped delegates to re-evaluate their applications and uses of accelerometers with a particular focus on areas such as mounting and cable selection.
As one UK delegate said ‘Although we have used accelerometers for many years, they have become the ‘taken for granted’ sensor and as such we don’t give them the attention we should, this course has opened our eyes to the importance of getting the accelerometer selection and fitting correct.’
Neill Ovenden continued….’This is an important agreement for us, as a manufacturer of accelerometers we fully appreciate the value of the sensor in the data acquisition process and training our customers helps us to ensure they are asking the right questions when they come to us to buy accelerometers.’
