We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Coote, joining BVM Ltd in the newly created role of Product Manager. Colin brings a wealth of experience to his new role with 30 years served in the thermal printer market, having held various positions from Field Service, Product Design, Sales and Product Management.
Colin’s background is firmly established in electronics engineering, commencing his career in military contracts in the 1980’s, then moving into a field service role looking after a range of industrial label printers and running a sales division for printer consumables.
In year 2000, Colin’s relationship started with the printer manufacturer Seiko Instruments where he’s been instrumental in promoting and supporting customer designs with Seiko’s range of thermal printer mechanisms, control boards and chip sets.
“I’ve worked closely with the Seiko Instruments team for many years now and I am excited to have to opportunity to start this new venture with Seiko and the BVM team”.
Seiko Instruments manufacture a range of thermal printers including battery powered mobile printers, POS receipt printers, desk-top label printers, panel printers, kiosk printers and a vast range of printer mechanisms for which BVM can offer help and support throughout the design process
