Baumer will be further strengthening its position in force and strain measurement. In time for the SINDEX start in Bern, the sensor expert has announced the acquisition of the Swiss company X-Sensors AG. For 25 years, X-Sensors has been developing and producing high-precision force and strain sensors for special applications by leading OEMs.
With the acquisition of the company, Baumer will expand its high-performance portfolio in force and strain sensor technology, and the merger of the development teams will even further increase the innovative strength of Baumer in this field.

Until further notice, customers are attended via the existing sales channels. In the mid-term, the product range of X-Sensors will be adopted into the Baumer portfolio.
