Time is running out to enter the brand-new Academic Support & Training Award category at the 2026 Instrumentation & Electronics Awards. With entries closing on 31 July, organisations are being urged to showcase how they are helping develop the next generation of engineering talent.
Adapted from the 2025 Academic Support Award, the category reflects the growing importance of technical education, skills development and industry collaboration across the instrumentation, electronics and engineering sectors.
From apprenticeships and industry partnerships to specialist courses, outreach programmes and technical learning initiatives, the award celebrates organisations making a meaningful contribution to education, training and professional development. Entries are welcomed from manufacturers, training providers, universities, colleges and engineering organisations helping to close skills gaps and strengthen the industry’s future.
Being shortlisted or winning offers valuable industry-wide recognition, highlighting an organisation’s commitment to education, workforce development and the engineers and technology professionals of tomorrow.
Is your training helping shape the industry’s future? Don’t leave it too late—submit your entry by 31 July. View the criteria and entry details on the Instrumentation & Electronics Awards website.
