Vision companies invited to open meeting at MTC

UKIVA is inviting any vision components suppliers or vision systems integrators based in the UK to attend its first Open Meeting which will be held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Ansty, Coventry on Thursday January 22nd, 2015.

UKIVA chairman, Mark Williamson, said: “A number of companies have joined the Association in the past year and this Open Meeting provides an ideal platform for them, together with any companies interested in joining the UKIVA to network with older members and gain an understanding of the key services the UKIVA can provide to help selling in the vision industry. It also offers a golden opportunity for attendees to provide ideas and input for new initiatives the Association can undertake on behalf of its members.”

“MTC was set up by the government to facilitate UK manufacturing to adopt new technology and remain competitive,” he continued. “The meeting will include a presentation on what the MTC does and how this initiative is promoting the use of machine vision in manufacturing as well as a tour of the MTC facility which houses some of the most advanced manufacturing technology in the world.”
