Trescal awarded for apprenticeship support

Trescal has been awarded by STEGTA, one of the Ofsted recognised leading training providers in the country, their annual Excellence award for apprenticeship support.

Ian Parker, Deputy CEO at Stegta quoted, ”Since 2009, Trescal have consistently demonstrated a firm commitment to the development of people within the calibration industry. Throughout our partnership, Trescal have shown a willingness to move forward with the ongoing platforms of Apprenticeship training. It gives STEGTA great pleasure to announce Trescal as the recipient of the 2018 Excellence Award for Apprenticeship Support.”

Following the award announcement Trescal Ltd surveyed their Apprentices and the results were astonishing:

  • 93 per cent of the Apprentices felt they were a valued member of the team
  • 92 per cent of the Apprentices would recommend Trescal to others considering an Apprenticeship
  • 100 per cent of the Apprentices surveyed felt supported by Trescal throughout their Apprenticeship

When asked why Trescal received the award Lewis Norwood, Apprentice in their Stevenage branch responded, “it is a good apprenticeship structure and the work based training is what has helped me pick up lots of new skills and a wealth of knowledge. The support received by Trescal Ltd from the outset and throughout is exactly why they have won this award.”
