Trescal announces acquisitions in the US and France

Trescal has acquired Diamond Technical Services (DTS) based in the US and  ACTEAM Industries in France. 

Founded in 2003, DTS is a ANAB ISO 17025 (2005) accredited calibration laboratory with skills in dimensional, pressure and temperature, particularly in accordance to the requirements of AMS 2750E specifications. DTS employs 23 people and its sales reached $ 2.5 million in 2017.

The CEO, Timothy Mullen, will remain in his current position to pursue the development and the integration of the company within Trescal Group.

Founded in 2006, ACTEAM is the French leader in high-accuracy assembly tools and also provides COFRAC accredited calibration services in torque. The company employs 12 people and its sales reached a turnover of 2.1 million euros in 2017. The company addresses all industrial sectors in particular Aeronautics, Automotive, Transport and Energy.

The founder and CEO, Christophe Poisson, will remain in his current position to pursue the development and the integration of the company within Trescal.

Guillaume Caroit, Trescal deputy CEO, said: “We are very happy to welcome DTS in Trescal in the USA. We are broadening our technical offer in the Boston area now addressing customers in the Aerospace as well as in Life science and Food industries. With the acquisition of Acteam Industries, we complete our services in torque with a multi-brand expertise unmatched in France and in Europe for the maintenance and repair of assembly tools and equipment.”

These are the 3rd and 4th acquisitions carried out with the support of the main shareholder OMERS.
