Registration opens for Air Quality & Emissions Show

With political and media activity approaching fever pitch on the subject of air pollution, the role of monitoring is under more scrutiny than ever, so AQE 2018, the Air Quality & Emissions event (Telford, UK 21/22 Nov.), is set to be the busiest yet.

Registration is now open at www.AQEShow.com and all pre-registered visitors will benefit from free parking, refreshments and lunch, in addition to free entry to WWEM 2018, the co-located water & wastewater monitoring event. Both events include a major international exhibition offering access to the latest technologies from the world’s leading brands in testing and monitoring. In total there will be almost 200 exhibition stands representing over 300 world-leading organisations. There are charges for attending some of the conferences, but entry to the exhibitions and workshops is free.

AQE 2018 will include a comprehensive technical programme of Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. For example, the STA (Source Testing Association) will run a conference on the first day, Wednesday 21st November, focusing on the Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD), which will come into force on 20th December 2018, and affect over 30,000 plants in the UK, such as generators and incinerators.

Ambient air quality will be the focus of a conference organised by IAPSC (Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Committee) on the second day. The main themes of this conference will be: sensor-based air quality monitoring techniques; engaging the public with air quality; and green infrastructure and its potential role in LAQM.

Seeking ways to improve urban air quality, the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) will host a one-day seminar on 21st November focusing on the development of Clean Air Zones (CAZs), and the Renewable Energy Association (REA) will also host a seminar at the event.

Workshops will run throughout both days, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about the latest methods and technologies on show.

With so much to choose from visitors are being urged to register early at www.AQEshow.com and to plan their visit in advance.
