Huber+Suhner to showcase products at the FTTH Conference

Huber+Suhner will be showcasing its latest solutions at the FTTH Conference in Marseille, addressing the evolving FTTx market trends and requirements.

Among these solutions will be the new Optibox family extension with a pre-connectorised portfolio. The need for speedy deployments, which is often hindered by lack of resources and skills, has driven the development of a brand new pre-connectorised access terminal solution portfolio, which will also be displayed alongside the Optibox extension.

“Our customers play a key role in defining our roadmap and innovation strategy, and the result is a growing solution portfolio which addresses customers’ needs,” said Kurt Misteli, Market Manager WAN/Access Networks at Huber+Suhner. “Our new Optibox family extension with a pre-connectorised portfolio is perfect, especially in regions with low skilled labour where FTTH deployments are happening and in which simplicity and speed are essential.”

Also on display will be Huber+Suhner’s ODF solution LISA as well as vectoring solutions for the Outside Plant, which allows for the easy integration of new fibre into existing copper outside plant infrastructure.

The increased demand in flexibility for “bandwidth-on-demand”, higher security and better protection will also be addressed at the Huber+Suhner Stand (G2) with optical switching from Huber+Suhner Polatis and Huber+Suhner Cube Optics’ DWDM portfolio, which can efficiently overcome the common issue of fibre exhaust in the network.

Huber+Suhner will also be introducing its new shuttered LC connector, which combines all the benefits of the existing LC connector with a protective self-closing cap, preventing contamination and enhancing overall link security throughout the network.
