Bell Flow Systems

Bell Flow Systems (Stand E5) will be exhibiting a wide selection of flow meters, level sensors and control at the Sensors & Instrumentation show
On display will be the new TFX-500w clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters from Badger Meter USA. The TFX-500w product is a versatile device, providing an economical solution for measuring water flow bi-directionally in a variety of applications. This new model is remarkably easy to install – thanks to its clamp-on design. As a result, there is no requirement to tap or cut the pipe. Simply attach the meters sensors to the outer structure of the pipework to complete the installation. This makes the TFX-500w ideal for existing projects, as retrofitting to existing systems is simple and quickly completed, removing the requirement for any system shut down time. Furthermore, there is no loss of pressure as a result of the non-invasive design of this ultrasonic flow meter. The TFX-500w is capable of measuring flow rate, velocity and water flow with precision and accuracy. A large and user friendly display screen completes the design.
New RCS Coriolis flow meters measure a wide range of liquids and gases over a wide range of fluid temperatures and viscosities. The Coriolis RCT 1000 enables the measurement of mass and volume flow as well as density, temperature and concentration (PID Control) with a single measuring instrument. Typical applications for these models are the dosing of biocides and additives as well as high-precision fuel supply to burners in power plants where an important increase in efficiency is achieved through direct fuel mass flow measurement. This range is also well-proven for lime milk density measurement as another specialist application.
In the chemistry and petrochemistry industries it is ideal for filling or dosing oils, solvents and chemicals. It measures online mass and volume flow, as well as density, concentration, pressure and temperature of a wide variety of fluids.
In the pulp and paper industry the Coriolis principle flow meter sets the standards in colour and coating kitchens and is perfect for the measurement of expensive chemicals and for air content measurement around the head box. These meters are especially suited for the precise measurement of high viscosity fluids whilst maintaining an extremely wide turndown ratio.
The Coriolis mass flow meter is based on the physical principle that a force , known as ‘Coriolis force’ acts on any mass that is moving towards or away from the point of rotation within a rotating system. The symmetrically arranged measuring tubes labelled 1 and 2 are vibrated against each other in the X and Y axis. The limbs RS 1 and RS 2 of the measuring tubes oscillate on a circular segment in case of zero flow.
A new range of low cost, inline and insertion style thermal mass flow meters for inert gases and compressed air measurement from Comate are now available from Bell Flow Systems. Comate flow meters are available in standard or Hot Tap versions as well as in-line models with local or remote display. TGF600 Series is COMATE’s latest thermal mass technology with a rugged design suitable for harsh industrial applications. It implements COMATE’s  sensor filming technology and high sensitivity sensors to ensure a stable measurement at very low flow rates down to 0.3Nm/s. The standard insertion model can fit pipes from DN80-DN500, inline models are available for smaller pipe sizes down to DN25 with specials for larger pipe up to DN 6000.
Fluidwell is the global leader in process measurement displays and instrumentation. We will be displaying a selection of new and existing products which are the ideal choice for a wide variety of flow metering, batch control and process measurement applications, with a selection of easy to program models and a comprehensive list of options to choose from. Fluidwell instruments combine ‘state of the art’ electronic engineering with innovative software design. Couple this with a common user-friendly menu interface across the range and you have a single source for a wealth of modern industrial measurement and control instrumentation to meet your every need. Safe area and hazardous area versions are available. ATEX , IECEx, CSA, FM.
There will also be a selection of ATEX approved Ultrasonic and Radar measurement sensors from Durko, suitable for measuring the level or height of stored liquids and bulk solids. Models are available suitable for a wide selection of level measurement applications and can be specified with various materials, connections , integral display as standard and choice of outputs.
